SAHPRA invests in patient safety – announcing new graduates

In alignment with MEAPP’s mission to build capacities and bridge the knowledge and skills gap in Pharmaceutical Medicine in the Middle East and Africa, Dr Assem El Baghdady, MD. MFPM. FRCP, President of MEAPP has proudly contributed to teaching a short course for Clinical Assessors within the African Regulatory Agencies. The course was developed to address the critical skills gaps in regulatory sciences in the African continent in addition to addressing an essential part of patient safety.

This was the third cohort of graduates who successfully completed this 13-week course accredited by the University of Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, South Africa in collaboration with The South Africa Health Products Regulatory Authority (SAHPRA).
