Clinical Drug Development Module Marks Key Milestone in Egypt’s Capacity Building Program

Yesterday, we successfully concluded the Clinical Drug Development module, led by Dr Assem el Baghdady, MD, FFPM, FRCP marking the first milestone in our Capacity Building Program for Enhancing Clinical Research and Medicine Development in Egypt.

This prestigious collaboration between King’s College London (KCL), Future University in Egypt (FUE), and the Middle East Association of Pharmaceutical Medicine Professionals (MEAPP®) offers a unique opportunity to strengthen the skills and capabilities of professionals in medicine development—contributing significantly to the advancement of healthcare research in Egypt.

Supported by the British Council’s Going Global Partnerships programme, this five-day module (Jan 28 – Feb 2) combined hybrid sessions and interactive workshops, bringing together 49 participants from diverse scientific backgrounds. The feedback was overwhelmingly positive, reflecting the program’s impact and value!
