MEAPP was honored to participate in the International Federation of Associations of Pharmaceutical Physicians and Pharmaceutical Medicine (IFAPP) Regional Meeting in Amsterdam last week. The meeting was a starting point on the roadmap of the IFAPP long-term strategy, where National Member Associations (NMAs) delegates and selected stakeholders were invited to join in person, engage, and contribute their thoughts for IFAPP’s planned initiatives, innovative approaches, and benefits for members and collaboration with stakeholders.
MEAPP was represented by its President Dr Assem el Baghdady & the Scientific Advisor Yasmin Nagaty. IFAPP Board Members have listened and learnt from the invited NMAs and stakeholders about their key initiatives, challenges, needs and expectations from IFAPP.
During the meeting, Dr Assem was selected to participate in the Communication Working Group of the IFAPP chaired by Dr Ghazaleh Gouya (Austria). Whereas, Yasmin was selected to participate in two important working Groups; Ethics Working Group chaired by Dr Kotone Matsuyama (Japan) and Young Professionals Working Group chaired by Dr Annette Mollet (Switzerland).
