…and our MEAPP is finally here, not just to stay, and to raise awareness of pharmaceutical medicine, but also to play a lead-role in creating a platform of competent scientists capable of developing innovative medicine to promote better healthcare for the public in the Middle East region and Africa.

The Middle East Association of Pharmaceutical Medicine Professionals (MEAPP) was founded with a vision to enable pharmaceutical medicine professionals (physicians, scientists, pharmacists, nurses, veterinaries, regulatory, marketing etc.) in the Middle East and Africa to gain European accredited qualifications, skills, knowledge and experience to elevate healthcare standards and become ambassadors for excellence within Pharmaceutical Medicine.

Through collaboration and partnership with organisations and institutes of similar interest -Faculty of Pharmaceutical Medicine (FPM) of the Royal Colleges of Physicians of the United Kingdom, the International Federation of Associations of Pharmaceutical Physicians & Pharmaceutical Medicine (IFAPP), Centre of Pharmaceutical Medicine Research (CPMR) King’s College London, The National Research Centre (NRC) Egypt, among others, the MEAPP will provide educational lectures / webinars / symposiums / workshops on medicine development, clinical trials, drug safety, pharmacology, statistics, ethics, market access, regulatory and medical affairs, etc., to pharmaceutical medicine professionals, government personnel and interested academics. Bringing European standard Pharmaceutical Medicine education to your home, so you can expand your knowledge, gain accredited certifications and spark change towards equal healthcare globally, where the public is the ultimate beneficiary of efficacious, safe and affordable medicines.

Pharmaceutical Medicine is advancing disproportionately, leaving many countries without adequate healthcare, dependent mainly on imported medicine or limited licensed manufacturing and suffering a dire shortage of new medicine development scientists.

The recent pandemic events have been a harsh reality and a rude awakening for all of us in the Middle East and Africa to depend on ourselves not only to manufacture essential remedies, but more importantly to invent our own home-grown new medicines. This is a critical issue of national security of all nations!

At MEAPP, we believe we can enable and prepare the next generations to spark change towards global equal healthcare practices through developing Pharmaceutical Medicine awareness and education in the Middle East and Africa.
